Ugly can have different meanings: If you are talking about looks then ugly is in the eye of the beholder. Thank goodness we all see different things otherwise I wouldn't have a chance. If you are talking about attitude and the way they treat others then they deserve the same as they give. “For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen.” ― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Much like this site Visit my Blog for my adventures.

Where does "ugly" come from?? DNA or society? Do we help or hinder?Depends on your personal; definition of what is ugly and one's own integrity (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

A person with an ugly spirit deserves exactly what they dish. Ugly in the visceral sense only exists in the heart of an individual. What is ugly for one is beauty for another. "Shall I tell you the secret of the true scholar? It is this: every man I meet is my master in some point, and in that I learn of him." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

I assume you mean ugly on the inside. Leave them be, alone in their misery.

If we're talking looks...they deserve to be treated with respect like any other human being. As a side note, I don't consider myself ugly but more or less average looking. It's pretty amazing how invisible you become as an average looking middle aged woman. Which isn't all bad - I don't miss the catcalling

As in ugly on the inside? If so, they deserve just to be ignored. I'm not going to waste any of my energy of them... let them wallow in their own ugliness. Thoughts from the Garden...

The same as everyone else. The ideal is that everyone ha the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I think it's pretty simple really...... Everyone deserves to be treated well....until they show you, or prove to you through words or actions.....that they don't! Looks should never play a part in how someone is treated.....ever. Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL

Ugly as in mean spirited hateful people!!!

Ugly or homely?

I believe that amazingly people generally get what they deserve. The folks that are not physically attractive, but are warm and fun, in the end will do better than the "hunks/babes" who are real shitasses to others. Patience and persistence are the key. My grandmother would say, "pretty is as pretty does". Pretty people can still be ugly. What do they deserve? Payback.

I'll accept substantial bribes now if they are available. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I don't understand the question. No one deserves anything.

This question seemed to come out of nowhere. Is everything okay, Lala? Ideally, our society gives people the rewards and punishments they deserve based on their actions, not their appearances. But no one deserves to be harassed for any reason. My featured post this week: Pulling Fantasy Sex Out of My Ass.

My Definition of "Ugly" are the people with toxic personalities. Toxic in the sense that they can't be happy unless they are starting fires with others just to sit back and be entertained by their manipulations. With that said, I think they should get what they deserve. For every negative thing that they have done to others gets turned on to them tenfold. I don't know if I'm on the right track, but I have a very narrow definition of "ugly".

There's a difference between 'a face like a wet weekend' and 'a face like a well skelped arse', but if somebody's walking around all the time with a face like a wet weekend well then they become fairly ugly anyway. Someone's ugly is someone else's love, on the other hand, one could have a face that only a mother could love too tae! Ah dearie me, I'm digging a deeper hole for masel' here, eh?!? Och, nah, some of the most beautiful people I've ever known in life have been what one might otherwise consider physically un-attractive. Ugly people on the other hand are often considered easy on the eye. I guess we're all ugly in some way at some time, some more or less than others.

As a relatively strong swimmer, I like to think I can hold my own against the tide........I've always believed that beauty is an all round state of being, rather than an outward appearance, and the converse holds true for ugliness. And without wishing to flatter idly, ye're a wee dod gorgeous there McBiggles............ Curiously, the first girl I ever met from here was what one might consider a stunner to look at, and she seemed pleasant enough in the written word, but within 5 minutes of meeting it became apparent that she was more than a little 'up herself' ( do you have that saying?). I mean, how many times do you need to look at your reflection in the window? Needless to say, it was a short coffee and I never asked to see her again........ah, the joys.......Anyways, I'm now wondering whether I pandered to her a little at first because she was so outwardly attractive. I don't think so, but now I'm not so sure........hmmm........

it is very subjective question, ugly can mean so many different things, I would redefine with people that are more attractive to me and less attractive, there is physical attraction and great chemistry too. you might be less attracted to someone because of the physical attraction, however that same person might give you the greatest chemistry of all while you might find people that you are very attracted to physically but you dont have such a great chemistry. If you can have both, you got a winner, if you cannot have both them I would go for a great chemistry with less physical attraction because I know the great chemistry will take care of everything else.. and in the end I will have again a winner situation. Never pick great physical attraction over great chemistry, bad decision, that wont last for long...

All depends on your definition of ugly!
